Serve the common perception of missionary responsibility of members; carry out tasks of the World Mission and Evangelism, which are beyond the scope and impact of its members; support the Evangelical Church in Germany and their member churches, and the Mission's member churches in different missionary orientation of the church's work and promote the collaboration of church and mission as well as the cooperation of regional missions and missionary societies; serve the cooperation of its members, particularly in the areas of missionary proclamation, missiology, education and training for missionary services and relations with churches and regional and continental ecclesial cooperation overseas; support tasks of World Mission and Evangelism, which require the cooperation between its members, especially in the fields of medical mission, the “World Bible Support”, theological education overseas, the Christian literature development and the church's use of mass media in overseas, society-related services of churches and church groups in overseas, the pro-development actions of churches, interchurch aid and missionary outreach; cooperate with the facilities of the church development service, the ecumenical Diakonia and church work abroad; perform the tasks of the German Protestant Missionary Day in accordance with the agreement from 29 October 1976; assume tasks at the request of individual members if no member objects; respect the responsibility of its members in its preparation and execution of tasks; be open to cooperation with missionary societies and missionary working groups, even if they are not a member.

Favour reflection on Jesuit educational ideals and their implementation in each partner university; promote the integration of our universities and our countries in their aim of transforming social structures in favour of the poor; exchange our resources and experiences to foster academic excellence; collaborate with the Provincial Conference for Latin America (CPAL) in order to promote actions to define the apostolic mission of the partner universities and to ensure that they are consistent with Christianity and with the principles and responsibility that characterise the Society of Jesus; promote with the CPAL the intellectual apostolate university vocation of lay people and Jesuits; contribute to the exchange of academic staff, beyond the national borders, to foster a more Latin American and universal vision and practice; establish a process to collect, concentrate, and disseminate information in exchange with our partner universities to foundations and institutions that can provide support to the university tasks.

Build bridges break down walls; mobilise young people to join Bridgebuilders Clubs; train them using our Bridgebuilders Curriculum and hands-on, cross-cultural experiences; send them out, or perhaps back to their own communities, to be ambassadors of change who make a positive difference in their world; supports these youth in Regional Support Team; enable them to be successful in their bridgebuilding mission.

Facilitate dialogue and bridge cultures from both sides of the Atlantic.

Serve as a catalyst in enhancing mutual understanding and respect in this multicultural nation of ours; promote and foster harmonious relations between members of different cultures communities in Australia, particularly in and around Melbourne; form relationships or partnerships with groups and organisations that celebrate diversity and multiculturalism; to connect people through shared values and on common grounds; encourage members of the community to celebrate diversity in their professional and personal lives.

The main aim of the Baha'i Community of Ecuador is to work systematically to build a community where everybody has a voice and action: children are nurtured with spiritual education, pre-youth are empowered in the positive transformation of the reality of their neighborhoods; young people called to the forefront of social change; adults, to guide and support. The purpose is to be mobilized by a conviction: that humanity has reached the period of maturity and that the application of the Baha'i teachings will achieve the long-awaited desire to unite humanity in a common faith. The Baha'I Community of Ecuador leads activities such as the educational processes promoted by the Bah�'� community (spiritual education classes for children, junior youth groups and study circles), talking and consulting organically on the importance of making significant contributions to the improvement of their neighborhoods, workplaces or university.
