The organisation works to protect the dignity and the rights of the most vulnerable migrants and their children. This is done by means of welcoming and political advocacy. The aim is to create greater awareness in society regarding cultural and religious diversity. The organisation seeks the participation of the migrants themselves and depends on the collaboration of volunteers. The organisation also forms alliances with other social groups that share its vision and sense of mission.

Grapple with religious, theological and cultural traditions; engage in dialogue with different religions, recognising what they share in common as well as barriers to understanding each other's cultures and religions; committed to sustainable development; strive to ensure the greatest possible transparency and participation with regards to projects, programmes and the allocation of resources.

Encourage people to take on and spread the message of Jesus Christ of faith, hope and love; create partnerships with Lutheran and other churches in Africa, Latin America, East Asia and Pacific through encounters, personnel exchanges and financial support; commit to the partners' concerns and promote ecumenical and global learning; send employees abroad and welcome people from our partner churches to collaborate with us in our church; take responsibility for the implementation of human rights and, in particular, support the right that women, men and children can live in dignity and freedom; live and promote Christianity worldwide and work together with our partners for more justice, peace and the integrity of creation in OneWorld.

Establish the church among peoples to whom the Gospel has not been preached; help Churches mature until they are able to evangelize their own and other peoples; promote dialogue between Christians and those of other religious traditions; facilitate interchange between local Churches, especially those from which we come and those to which we are sent; foster in local Churches an awareness of their missionary responsibility.

The aim of the organisation is to value and identify with all that has a genuine spiritual value in each religion and cultural tradition. It is also important to promote dialogue about religious experience, rooted in Christian tradition and to spread awareness on the importance of interreligious dialogue in monastic communities.

Promote academic, cultural and political exchange; participate in the discussion about European citizenship; serve as a platform for meaningful collaboration between Sweden, EU and other actors beyond former geopolitical borders.

The AMR works for the following objectives:First, to advise the Ajuntament de Lleida on the different issues related to religious diversity issues. Second, to make proposals for actions regarding municipal issues that promote the interreligious dialogue as a tool of peace and cohabitation. Third, to Perform mediation tasks between the different represented religious communities and local authorities and other administrations in order to promote coexistence in the city. Fourth, to promote education regarding religious diversity in the city. Fifth, to encourage the development of comprehensive municipal policies and actions aimed at the defense of the interreligious dialogue, a culture of peace, and human rights.

To present the true Islam and its tolerant principles, provide humanitarian aid, extend bridges of dialogue and cooperation with all, engage in positive openness to all cultures and civilizations, follow the path of centrism and moderation to realize the message of Islam and ward off movements calling for extremism, violence and exclusion for a world full of peace, justice and coexistence.

Initiate studies and projects that are considered important for cooperation and communion between the churches; Work to ensure Christian churches and religious communities freedom and equal terms; Promote contact and cooperation between national and international church life and communicate and inspire collaboration among congregations in Denmark and abroad; Organise Ecumenical Forum, which is made up of churches, religious communities, churches and organizations to promote ecumenical dialogue and cooperation on specific projects; Work across religious affiliation on principles of volunteerism and commitment to each work.
